# Argentina:
Last night I gave my daughter a book. I told her it was a top-notch story! She asked why. I explained that a good friend had enthusiastically told me about a fantastic teen film he’d just seen. After a few lines of the plot, I declared with certainty that it had to be “Bridge to Terabithia”! There are many stories in this world, but only a handful are truly top-notch. The film, translated as “Bridge to Terabithia,” is largely faithful to the original.

Before going to bed, she read a few chapters of “Bridge to Terabithia”. I said, it’s late, I’ll go to bed after reading this chapter. She said that this chapter is too short and she needs to read another one. I said, okay, actually you can bring it to school tomorrow and read it with your good friends. Final exams are too annoying, you should read a few more good books to relax.

The end of the semester is approaching, and the teacher doesn’t allow us to bring extracurricular books to school. Fortunately, I have very little homework recently, so I have time to read more books to relax [haha]

My daughter’s homework has doubled. She only feels dizzy and her hands are sore when she does it, but she won’t stop doing it. I said, “Then find some good books to catch up. Life should not be without fun.”
[hehe]

Xiaoyin, the elder sister of Ajia’s family, is in a senior grade and naturally has a lot of academic work. My little girl is in the second grade and is doing well. :)
# Qianqian Linfeng:
Do you have time to watch it during this period?
# Argentine Jia replied to @芊芊临风:
According to my experience and some sample surveys, for children who love reading, stressful exam periods are actually peak reading times, as reading is actually one of the best ways to relieve stress. Of course, to have this kind of leisure, one must truly be indifferent to exams. But strangely enough, the less you care about something, the more enjoyable the results often are.
#Daozikema:
As parents, we can only try our best to use love and tolerance to make up for the harm caused by school education.
#Christinez:
Our family is always in the peak of reading, haha! I don’t expect her grades to be very good, just passable is fine.
# Red Mud Argentinian A‑League:
It’s true that there are daily reading peaks, but if exams can be used to their full potential, they can become a valuable tool for boosting reading. At the end of third grade, Xiaoyin and several of her classmates read nearly 4 million words of Harry Potter in just two weeks. At the end of fourth grade, they tackled the even more terrifying Lord of the Rings (including Past and Present Lives). Honestly, exams are more useful than holidays, as there are so many games available to replace them.

Haha, “The final exams are so annoying, I should read some good books to relax.” I like this suggestion.
# Changchang Youyou:
I’ve also heard of this book. Do you sell it at Hongni?
# Argentina:
This book has been recommended on Red Mud for years, so it’s definitely available. Katherine Patterson is a writer I particularly admire, and she has a strong connection to China (she was born and spent her childhood there). Her other two books, Kiri the Adopted Daughter and My Twin Sister and I, are also excellent.
