School events:
1. Classes have fully resumed at Ren’ai School in Qunxin Village and Niubi Village, Hanwang Town. After two days of preparation, classes are generally resumed as normal in both locations, barring severe wind and rain.
2. Our current team has a healthy mix of both civil and military personnel. We’ve decided to strengthen discipline and team spirit among the children in both schools for at least a week through introductory military training and engaging team activities, primarily led by two veterans, Instructor Dai (former lieutenant) and Instructor Zhang (former non-commissioned officer). On the first day, we spent over an hour in each location, concluding with a neat parade of children through the village main road. Morale was high.

3. After joint discussion, the schedule for both schools was basically finalized: Classes began at 8:30 AM, with a half-hour recitation session; three morning classes officially began at 9:00 AM. In addition to military training and physical activities, volunteers would share academic subjects based on their respective strengths. Currently, the classes offered included Chinese, English, reading, geography, art, singing, and national defense education. The first day of classes resumed, and everything was in good order.

Newly published Tyrannosaurus Rex story has children captivated
Believe it or not, they have actually heard all the previous Tyrannosaurus Rex stories!
At noon, the Ren’ai School at the Mianzhu Sports Center delivered a batch of bedding, cooking utensils, tableware, and related food supplies. Everyone cheered and their morale was greatly boosted. In the afternoon, heavy rain turned into a violent storm. The school’s base once again withstood the test. Several volunteers from the Volunteer Home braved the rain again and delivered some more kitchen supplies.
5. It was already past 10 o’clock at night when Mr. Xue from Chengdu drove over. After hearing about the situation here, he bought a batch of rainproof supplies and food after work and rushed over despite the wind and rain.
After these several deliveries throughout the day, the emergency situation at the school was completely resolved. Everyone wore rain boots with insoles, and they felt dry even on the muddy roads. One volunteer said, “I feel invincible now!” The bedding they delivered was also crucial; everyone finally got a warm night’s sleep. For the first time in several days, I didn’t wake up at 4 a.m. from the cold.
It’s the morning of June 17th. My feet are dry, I’m cooking a pot of mung bean porridge, basking in the gentle morning sun, and my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you for life! Thank you to all those who love life and love each other!
