The 10th anniversary of the 2014 Top 10 Children’s Books and the launch of the new book “Reading Illuminates Childhood: Parents’ Must-Reads for Children 0–8”

The 10th anniver­sary of the annu­al TOP 10 chil­dren’s book rank­ings and the book launch of “Read­ing Illu­mi­nates Child­hood: Par­ents’ Must-Read Books for Chil­dren Aged 0–8,” joint­ly orga­nized by Par­ents Must-Read Mag­a­zine and Red Mud Read­ing Club, will take place at the Nation­al Con­ven­tion Cen­ter on Decem­ber 23rd. Well-known read­ing pro­mot­ers, hun­dreds of pub­lish­ing hous­es, and media rep­re­sen­ta­tives will gath­er to share in this annu­al chil­dren’s read­ing extrav­a­gan­za.

About the Top 10 Chil­dren’s Books

How to choose books for chil­dren? How to tell sto­ries to chil­dren? How to cre­ate a good fam­i­ly read­ing envi­ron­ment for chil­dren… 10 years ago, a group of peo­ple who love read­ing and pic­ture books came togeth­er with the sim­ple wish to help chil­dren choose good books. Togeth­er, they launched the “Top 10 Excel­lent Chil­dren’s Books” list, a chil­dren’s book list that belongs to Chi­nese media.
Since 2007, the annu­al selec­tion of excel­lent chil­dren’s book rank­ings, “Par­ents Must Read” mag­a­zine and the Red Mud Read­ing Club, togeth­er with many par­ents, have wit­nessed the grad­ual pros­per­i­ty of excel­lent pic­ture books for chil­dren in main­land Chi­na.
