[Reprint] Little Stone Class

Original address:Little Stone Classauthor:Han and Miao[转载]小石头课[转载]小石头课“Bear Moving Stones”

Birds and bears love collecting stones. Even ordinary pebbles on the riverbank can be quite interesting upon closer inspection. For this little stone lesson, Teacher Big Bear collected stones for almost a week, making a daily trip back on his bicycle, washing and drying each one before delivering them to the studio from Yizhuang. His hard work has left Han Miao’s desk filled with beautiful stones. This is our indoor “riverbank,” where children can pick their favorite stones, glue them to a wooden board, and brainstorm: Does this stone resemble a turtle shell? Does that stone resemble an elephant’s leg? Using stones to create animals, people, flowers, and patterns is endless fun, and the possibilities are endless. There’s no shortage of stones, only imagination. The children paired large stones with small ones, dark stones with light ones, and used the stones’ natural colors and shapes to create pictures and stories. To achieve the perfect result, they continued to refine their creations with brushes and paint until a beautiful “stone painting” was created. We hope the children enjoyed this day at our virtual “riverbank.”
