BBC Audio + Transcript: Seeing Chinese Historical Figures Through the Eyes of Western Friends

I recently read (or heard) a series of articles on the BBC commemorating Chinese historical figures, which I found very interesting. I heard that there may be ten articles in total when they are published. The author is a British female journalistCarrie
Gracie, you can find her information on English Wikipedia. Not only did she work and study in China, she also married a Chinese musician and had children, so she is half Chinese.
…Bless this family!

After reading a few articles carefully, I feel
Carrie
While Gracie’s writing isn’t quite the scholarly eloquence it possesses, its perspective is unique, its ideas intriguing, and its emotional depth moving. While one doesn’t necessarily have to agree or reject the author’s views, viewing them from a fresh perspective can be quite eye-opening.
