[Forward] “Sowing the Seeds of Happiness” Storytelling Volunteer Training Activity Recruitment Letter

To comprehensively promote reading among children in Beijing, sow the seeds of joyful reading in the hearts of children, and actively foster a harmonious environment for a “bookish capital,” the Capital Library and Beijing Red Mud Culture Development Co., Ltd. jointly planned and launched the “Sowing the Seeds of Happiness” children’s reading promotion program: Storyteller Volunteer Training Program (hereinafter referred to as the “Training Program”) in December 2006, successfully holding two sessions. In August 2011, the two organizations will once again collaborate to relaunch the “Training Program,” recruiting “Seed” Storyteller volunteers citywide to promote advanced children’s reading concepts. By inviting experts and writers in the field of children’s reading, the program aims to cultivate a group of volunteers who are interested, passionate, and determined to “read aloud” to children, allowing them to experience the “beauty of reading.” This will stimulate children’s motivation and interest in reading, thereby fostering excellent reading skills and forming good reading habits among young people.
