Speaker Introduction:

Ajia, a children’s reading promoter, graduated from the Law Department of Fudan University in Shanghai and a voracious reader. Having worked in various professions, his passion for “doing something for children” ultimately led him to a career filled with children, where he spends his days having fun. In 2000, he co-founded the children’s website “Red Mud Village” with Carrot Detective and others, and worked hard to make it the most popular children’s website in China. In 2002, he co-founded the Red Mud Reading Club, actively promoting children’s literature and reading activities. He is the co-author of “101 Books That Will Hook Children,” “100 Key Questions About Children’s Reading,” “Helping Children Fall in Love with Reading: A Children’s Reading Promotion Handbook,” and “Six People Talking About Reading in China.” He has also translated numerous picture books, including “Courage,” “The Little House,” “Stone Soup,” “Four Red Apples,” and “The Little Pig and the Big Bad Wolf.”
