Oh, Xiaoyin is not in a good mood tonight…

Xiaoyin was in a good mood. In her evening art class, she made two ghost masks, one for her dad and one for herself, feeling quite proud. When she got home, she wanted to wear them to scare her mom. As soon as her mom opened the door, she jumped forward and screamed, only to be met with a barrage of screams from Henry. Alas, instead of scaring her mom, Henry did, and he peed again. To make matters worse, Mom had just given Henry a chestnut, and he was chewing it! As a result, Henry not only peed, but also choked. He coughed loudly for a long time before calming down, probably because he choked on something.

Xiaoyin was in a bad mood, full of regret. I regretted it too. I should have expected Henry to be the first to greet her, and I hadn’t imagined Xiaoyin would be so excited to scare her mother. Xiaoyin’s bad mood before bedtime made her mother even more upset, and then even worse… I had to tell her a particularly funny story, and she finally fell asleep peacefully.

When I took Henry downstairs this morning, I saw Xiaoyin sound asleep and didn’t want to wake her. But after a while, she woke up and asked Mom about it. When she realized I’d walked the dog without her, she burst into tears. Mom had no choice but to rush her downstairs to find Henry and me.

Oh, it’s such a tiring day that started and ended with tears. I must wake her up tomorrow morning.
