How\u00adev\u00ader, a hand injury inter\u00adrupt\u00aded his per\u00adform\u00ading career, lead\u00ading him to pur\u00adsue a career in edu\u00adca\u00adtion and lit\u00ader\u00ada\u00adture. His illus\u00adtra\u00adtions are influ\u00adenced by Mau\u00adrice Sendak and Edward Gorey, and he excels at com\u00adbin\u00ading ink lines with soft col\u00adors, cap\u00adtur\u00ading emo\u00adtion\u00adal ten\u00adsion in a min\u00adi\u00admal\u00adist style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcda Representative works:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The most rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtive series is <strong>George and Martha<em>George and Martha<\/em>, 1972)<\/strong>Through the every\u00adday inter\u00adac\u00adtions of two hip\u00adpos, Mar\u00adshall depicts the ten\u00adder\u00adness and com\u00adplex\u00adi\u00adty of friend\u00adship with humor and absur\u00addi\u00adty.
