\nChrist\u00admas is a great gate\u00adway for me to learn about chil\u00addren\u2019s books. It was my daugh\u00adter who helped me open this mag\u00adi\u00adcal chan\u00adnel. It was opened nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly after I read some sto\u00adries to her. One book that is par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly mem\u00ado\u00adrable for us is \u201cThe Gift Received on Christ\u00admas Eve\u201d from the \u201cTim and Sharon\u201d series.

\nThis book taught us how to cel\u00ade\u00adbrate Christ\u00admas with our chil\u00addren and helped me redis\u00adcov\u00ader the mean\u00ading of Christ\u00admas. San\u00adta Claus stayed in our home until our chil\u00addren were about 12 years old\u2026

\nAs my chil\u00addren grew up and learned more about chil\u00addren\u2019s books, I lat\u00ader learned that Christ\u00admas is actu\u00adal\u00adly inex\u00adtri\u00adca\u00adbly linked to the his\u00adto\u00adry of chil\u00addren\u2019s book devel\u00adop\u00adment. In a sense, the pros\u00adper\u00adi\u00adty of chil\u00addren\u2019s books is large\u00adly due to Christ\u00admas!

\nAmong the ear\u00adly Christ\u00admas books for chil\u00addren, per\u00adhaps the most famous is Dick\u00aden\u00ads\u2019s A Christ\u00admas Car\u00adol\u2026 There are many ver\u00adsions avail\u00adable now, and I espe\u00adcial\u00adly rec\u00adom\u00admend

The Tale of Peter Rab\u00adbit, which is regard\u00aded as the ori\u00adgin of the pic\u00adture book, was first pub\u00adlished by Beat\u00adrix Pot\u00adter in 1901 at her own expense. It was orig\u00adi\u00adnal\u00adly a black and white ver\u00adsion, which was pre\u00adpared as a gift for Christ\u00admas in 1901. The fol\u00adlow\u00ading year (1902), the Vaugh\u00adan Com\u00adpa\u00adny pub\u00adlished a col\u00ador ver\u00adsion (the ver\u00adsion we see today), which was also released at Christ\u00admas.

\nFrom the good deeds of the four sis\u00adters at the begin\u00adning of \u201cLit\u00adtle Women\u201d, to the touch\u00ading Christ\u00admas sto\u00adry in \u201cThe Lit\u00adtle House on the Prairie\u201d, and the old tramp whose heart was melt\u00aded by the chil\u00addren in \u201cThe Fam\u00adi\u00adly Under the Bridge\u201d, to San\u00adta Claus in \u201cThe Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe\u201d in the King\u00addom of Nar\u00adnia, and the Christ\u00admas gifts Har\u00adry Pot\u00adter received over the years\u2026they are not just fun sto\u00adries, they make us savor them for a long time in won\u00adder\u00adful enjoy\u00adment and touch\u00ading moments.

\nPer\u00adhaps I for\u00adgot to men\u00adtion \u201cHol\u00adly and Ivy,\u201d a long pic\u00adture book filled with beau\u00adti\u00adful Christ\u00admas wish sto\u00adries. These beau\u00adti\u00adful sto\u00adries make us think about how beau\u00adti\u00adful wish\u00ades, or hope, may be irra\u00adtional, but they are so impor\u00adtant to human sur\u00advival! They are more like a kind of faith, empow\u00ader\u00ading us to live more pow\u00ader\u00adful\u00adly.

\nOh, and I just found out there\u2019s a mag\u00adi\u00adcal Christ\u00admas sto\u00adry\u00adbook called \u201cOlaf and San\u00adta Claus,\u201d which has been reprint\u00aded. If I\u2019d known about this reprint, I would have told you about it, too. It\u2019s my daugh\u00adter\u2019s and my favorite Christ\u00admas sto\u00adry\u00adbook. We\u2019ve read it count\u00adless times togeth\u00ader and always burst into laugh\u00adter. Now she\u2019s a sopho\u00admore in high school, and I sud\u00adden\u00adly asked her, \u201cWhat\u2019s your favorite Christ\u00admas sto\u00adry\u00adbook?\u201d She imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly replied, \u201cOlaf!\u201d The most amaz\u00ading time was when we were in the hos\u00adpi\u00adtal, and she was get\u00adting an IV drip, which took a long time. We were so hap\u00adpy read\u00ading this book (it\u2019s so long!), it felt like we were at a play\u00adground instead of a hos\u00adpi\u00adtal, O(\u2229_\u2229)O, haha~

\nI saw that the reprint of \u201cOlaf and San\u00adta Claus\u201d was divid\u00aded into three vol\u00adumes, and it looked more beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly print\u00aded:
