\nRead\u00ading Illu\u00admi\u00adnates Child\u00adhood:<\/span>0<\/span>~<\/span>8<\/span>The book \u201cPar\u00adents Must Read\u201d is com\u00adpiled by the edi\u00adtors of \u201cPar\u00adents Must Read\u201d mag\u00ada\u00adzine in coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with the Red Mud Read\u00ading Club. Its core part is<\/span>2005\u20132014<\/span>Year<\/span>TOP10<\/span>This book fea\u00adtures intro\u00adduc\u00adtions and index\u00ades to the short\u00adlist\u00aded and select\u00aded works for the annu\u00adal chil\u00addren\u2019s book rank\u00adings. It also includes tran\u00adscripts of inter\u00adviews with numer\u00adous renowned domes\u00adtic and inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal authors over the past decade on par\u00adent-child read\u00ading philoso\u00adphies, as well as prac\u00adti\u00adcal exam\u00adples of book selec\u00adtion and par\u00adent-child read\u00ading. As the edi\u00adtor-in-chief, I\u2019m proud to say that this book is an excel\u00adlent guide to book selec\u00adtion for young par\u00adents. Why do I say that? Let me briefly explain.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nA col\u00adlec\u00adtion of good books<\/span><\/b>
\n
\nAs some\u00adone who spends their days immersed in books, I\u2019ve always stub\u00adborn\u00adly believed that if a book is tru\u00adly nec\u00ades\u00adsary, it\u2019s only because you des\u00adper\u00adate\u00adly want it and can\u2019t find it no mat\u00adter how hard you try! A book not born out of such a need is like\u00adly a waste. \u201cRead\u00ading Bright\u00adens Child\u00adhood\u201d was born large\u00adly out of a press\u00ading need shared by me and my fel\u00adlow enthu\u00adsi\u00adasts. Unlike a decade ago, there are now an over\u00adwhelm\u00ading num\u00adber of excel\u00adlent chil\u00addren\u2019s books on the mar\u00adket, mak\u00ading book rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions for young par\u00adents increas\u00ading\u00adly chal\u00adleng\u00ading. Young par\u00adents are always eager to get their chil\u00addren good books as soon as pos\u00adsi\u00adble, fear\u00ading their rapid\u00adly grow\u00ading chil\u00addren will miss out. There\u00adfore, we need to pre\u00adpare a foun\u00adda\u00adtion\u00adal library of books with the nec\u00ades\u00adsary length, breadth, and depth for them to choose from, though it\u2019s obvi\u00adous that such a library is unlike\u00adly to be per\u00adfect or with\u00adout omis\u00adsions.<\/span>TOP10<\/span>The short\u00adlist\u00aded and list\u00aded works of the annu\u00adal excel\u00adlent chil\u00addren\u2019s book list are the result of care\u00adful selec\u00adtion and selec\u00adtion over the past ten years.<\/span>600<\/span>There are more than<\/span>1500<\/span>There are many excel\u00adlent chil\u00addren\u2019s books to choose from, most of which have been reprint\u00aded many times since their pub\u00adli\u00adca\u00adtion and have stood the test of time.\n<\/span><\/p>

\nChoos\u00ading a good book also requires guid\u00adance<\/span><\/b>

\nHow\u00adev\u00ader, with so many books (no mat\u00adter how good they are) piled up in front of the book selec\u00adtor, it is still a \u201cdizzy\u201d word! Where to start? New par\u00adents often start by choos\u00ading \u201cbooks that are on the top of the list\u201d and \u201cbest-sell\u00ading books\u201d, but they often find that whether they are on the list or sell the best is actu\u00adal\u00adly not very rel\u00ade\u00advant to their own baby; slight\u00adly expe\u00adri\u00adenced par\u00adents may start to search for book lists, look for repost\u00aded lists of famous books in var\u00adi\u00adous groups, or ask around \u201cwhat are the books for chil\u00addren?\u201c<\/span>27<\/span>\u201cWhat books can my child read at 1 month old?\u201d \u201cMy child is a lit\u00adtle timid, what books can I read?\u201d \u201cMy child is obsessed with cars, what books can I read?\u201d\u2026 In short, I began to con\u00adscious\u00adly search for books based on my baby\u2019s spe\u00adcif\u00adic sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion. But even these ques\u00adtions (such as what books to read at what age, and what books to read for the child\u2019s spe\u00adcif\u00adic needs) can be quite dif\u00adfi\u00adcult for expe\u00adri\u00adenced book\u00adworms like us. Defin\u00ading the appro\u00adpri\u00adate read\u00ading age for a book is only a nec\u00ades\u00adsary tran\u00adsi\u00adtion\u00adal mea\u00adsure, and \u201cpre\u00adscrib\u00ading the right med\u00adi\u00adcine for the right prob\u00adlem\u201d is by no means the true val\u00adue of a good book. But such needs are so urgent that in \u201cRead\u00ading Bright\u00adens Child\u00adhood,\u201d we have spe\u00adcial\u00adly designed mul\u00adti\u00adple guid\u00adance chan\u00adnels to make it easy for begin\u00adners to get start\u00aded and for expe\u00adri\u00adenced read\u00aders to rec\u00adom\u00admend books to others\u2014and to appear very knowl\u00adedge\u00adable!\n<\/span><\/p>

\nRead\u00ading age guide<\/span><\/b>It is the most help\u00adless, but it seems to be nec\u00ades\u00adsary, so I call it \u201ctran\u00adsi\u00adtion\u00adal\u201d. We will try to pro\u00advide gen\u00ader\u00adal pos\u00adsi\u00adble read\u00ading age rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions based on expe\u00adri\u00adence and cer\u00adtain the\u00ado\u00adret\u00adi\u00adcal per\u00adspec\u00adtives, as well as refer\u00adring to the actu\u00adal read\u00ading accep\u00adtance sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion.
