Over the past three years, the read\u00ading ses\u00adsions at Red Mud Head\u00adquar\u00adters have reached their fifth phase. In fact, for the inspec\u00adtor and me, the read\u00ading ses\u00adsions have been a tremen\u00addous help in our growth.<br>\n<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nIn the past, study ses\u00adsions were pri\u00admar\u00adi\u00adly held pri\u00advate\u00adly. While we did exten\u00adsive prepa\u00adra\u00adtion before\u00adhand and often pro\u00adduced fas\u00adci\u00adnat\u00ading recaps and sum\u00admaries after\u00adward, the rush of activ\u00adi\u00adty often led to dis\u00adcus\u00adsions that were often lim\u00adit\u00aded to casu\u00adal emails. Look\u00ading back, there were count\u00adless flash\u00ades of bril\u00adliant thought, and even more sol\u00adid mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal com\u00adpi\u00adla\u00adtions, all qui\u00adet\u00adly lost in the pas\u00adsage of time.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nSo, I thought I could start to orga\u00adnize it a lit\u00adtle bit from now on, and every\u00adone can post it in this blog when it is con\u00adve\u00adnient. Her appetite was\u00adn\u2019t great so ear\u00adly, and she fin\u00adished half of her noo\u00addles before pack\u00ading up to go out. As she was stuff\u00ading her lunch bowl and spoon into her school bag, I saw a small bag of cook\u00adies she had baked her\u00adself last night!<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ha, that\u2019s a great idea! Should I bring it to school and eat it slow\u00adly? She said no, but I could eat it on the sub\u00adway and it would count as part of my break\u00adfast.<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br><\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nAfter send\u00ading my daugh\u00adter out, I was sud\u00adden\u00adly struck by emo\u00adtion: What a won\u00adder\u00adful child! She actu\u00adal\u00adly baked her own cook\u00adies for break\u00adfast! And, sur\u00adpris\u00ading\u00adly, this was all thanks to her love of read\u00ading, which is also relat\u00aded to our Red Mud Chil\u00addren\u2019s Clas\u00adsic Book Study Group!<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br><\/span><br>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nThe rea\u00adson is prob\u00ada\u00adbly like this: I don\u2019t know when it start\u00aded, the Red Mud Chil\u00addren\u2019s Book Study Group grad\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly devel\u00adoped into a tea par\u00adty with fruits and snacks. Some chil\u00addren bought them, and some made them them\u00adselves. One of the most pop\u00adu\u00adlar ones is<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.sina.com.cn\/u\/1416945381\" target=\"_blank\">Peach Blos\u00adsom Spring<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Home\u00admade cook\u00adies. Coin\u00adci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly, my daugh\u00adter was there dur\u00ading one of our cook\u00adie shar\u00ading ses\u00adsions, and she raved about them, much to Aunt Tao Zhiyuan\u2019s delight. The next time, she gave her some cook\u00adies and a copy of \u201cLearn Bak\u00ading with Jun\u00adzhi,\u201d per\u00adhaps hop\u00ading Xiaoy\u00adin\u2019s moth\u00ader would make some for her. But Xiaoy\u00adin\u2019s moth\u00ader flipped through the book, feel\u00ading it was too dif\u00adfi\u00adcult for her, and set it aside (it was cer\u00adtain\u00adly a dif\u00adfi\u00adcult book, in my opin\u00adion). Only then did my daugh\u00adter, then in fifth grade, dili\u00adgent\u00adly flip through it, per\u00adhaps because she found the pic\u00adtures so pleas\u00ading and sat\u00adis\u00adfy\u00ading.
