\/>\nbecause I lacked the courage or the time, not because I lacked the<br \/>\ndesire,&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2026\u2026<br \/>\nThat is why I could not miss the opportunity to<br \/>\nwrite this introduction and thank Eduardo Galeano publicly for his<br \/>\nstupendous love for freedom, and for his contribution to my<br \/>\nawareness as a writer and as a citizen of Latin America.<br \/>\nAs
