\nThis is a book of breath\u00adtak\u00ading beau\u00adty! The lan\u00adguage is beau\u00adti\u00adful, the illus\u00adtra\u00adtions are beau\u00adti\u00adful, and the sto\u00adry is tru\u00adly beau\u00adti\u00adful. I nev\u00ader imag\u00adined that this book, which looks like a wood\u00adblock print, is actu\u00adal\u00adly made of water\u00adcol\u00ador! The end\u00ading was also quite unex\u00adpect\u00aded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

   
\nThis is the kind of book you can\u2019t help but share with your chil\u00addren. As I was car\u00adry\u00ading it home, I hap\u00adpened to run into my daugh\u00adter on the way. She read it through as we walked, and then she said, \u201cWhat a great sto\u00adry! The girl turns into a wild horse at the end\u2014that\u2019s great!\u201d \u2014Haha, I thought so too, although it was a lit\u00adtle unex\u00adpect\u00aded.

\nPaul Gob\u00adle was not orig\u00adi\u00adnal\u00adly a writer or painter. He became a famous pic\u00adture book writer by acci\u00addent. When his chil\u00addren were young, Gob\u00adle often read books to them. One time, when he saw his son watch\u00ading a play about Gen\u00ader\u00adal Cus\u00adtard, he
\nCuster TV series, he found that the plot was com\u00adplete\u00adly incon\u00adsis\u00adtent with his\u00adto\u00adry! So he went to the library to look for a book about Gen\u00ader\u00adal Custer, but found that there were no books suit\u00adable for sev\u00aden-year-olds.
\nHe was so famil\u00adiar with the bat\u00adtle of Cus\u00adtard and the Sioux and Cheyenne Indi\u00adans at Bighorn that he had an idea: he would write a book him\u00adself, draw illus\u00adtra\u00adtions, and read it to his chil\u00addren.<\/p>\n

   
\nThat\u2019s how Gob\u00adle lat\u00ader became a writer and illus\u00adtra\u00adtor who won many awards. In fact, his job and pro\u00adfes\u00adsion is fur\u00adni\u00adture and indus\u00adtri\u00adal design\u00ader and lec\u00adtur\u00ader at the design school. All his works are com\u00adplet\u00aded in the evening after he gets home from get off work.<\/p>\n

   
\nAfter becom\u00ading a writer and illus\u00adtra\u00adtor, he pub\u00adlished many won\u00adder\u00adful pic\u00adture books for young read\u00aders, such as The Girl Who Was a Wild Horse, which won the Calde\u00adcott Gold Medal in 1979.

\nIn this book, he, as a recorder of Indi\u00adan cul\u00adture, con\u00adveys two con\u00adcepts: not only allow\u00ading the gen\u00ader\u00adal pub\u00adlic to bet\u00adter under\u00adstand the peace\u00adful coex\u00adis\u00adtence of Indi\u00adans with nature, but also allow\u00ading Indi\u00adans to be more proud of their cul\u00adture.<\/p>\n
