On April 6, 2025, at the reminder of a voice in the ear\u00adly morn\u00ading, the idea of cre\u00adat\u00ading this blog web\u00adsite began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 10 a.m., I start\u00aded the ini\u00adtial plan\u00adning. I told my needs to Xiao C (Chat\u00adG\u00adPT) in detail. Xiao C read\u00adi\u00adly pro\u00advid\u00aded two options and rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded the medi\u00adum-dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adty self-built blog serv\u00ader solu\u00adtion. I fol\u00adlowed her advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of Xiao C, I set up the serv\u00ader and data\u00adbase in the morn\u00ading, installed Word\u00adPress in the after\u00adnoon, and arranged the web page pub\u00adlish\u00ading. Final\u00adly, before din\u00adner, I pub\u00adlished the first blog post:Talk\u00ading about Leo Lion\u00adni\u2019s life<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose to post this as the first arti\u00adcle because I par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly like Leo Lion\u00adni and have trans\u00adlat\u00aded 19 of his pic\u00adture books (For detailed cat\u00ada\u00adlogue, please see Wei\u00adbo<\/a>); sec\u00adond, I cre\u00adat\u00aded this blog with the spe\u00adcial inten\u00adtion of orga\u00adniz\u00ading the texts I have writ\u00adten over the past quar\u00adter cen\u00adtu\u00adry, most of which are about chil\u00addren\u2019s books and read\u00ading. Of course, I will con\u00adtin\u00adue to write, so I don\u2019t have to wor\u00adry about some words being \u201char\u00admo\u00adnized\u201d here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve writ\u00adten so much over the years, scat\u00adtered across var\u00adi\u00adous places\u2014forums and blogs that have since fad\u00aded away or been for\u00adgot\u00adten, and many are now nowhere to be found. For\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, I backed up most of my work and usu\u00adal\u00adly not\u00aded the date out of habit. For exam\u00adple, this arti\u00adcle \u201cTalk\u00ading about the life of Leo Lion\u00adni\u201d was writ\u00adten on March 8, 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am too lazy to \u201cupdate\u201d past texts, unless there are major errors or omis\u00adsions that need to be revised, I usu\u00adal\u00adly just post them as they are\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, the posts here will con\u00adsist of two main parts: some from the past, now gath\u00adered and reor\u00adga\u00adnized, and oth\u00aders writ\u00adten in the present or future. In that sense, \u201cBridge of Ajia\u201d could be seen as a bridge of time and memory\u2014a link between the past and the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
